First Week Without Daddy

Mom and Alex

Anniversary flowers

Andy had to go back to work on Monday so it was just Alex and Mom at home all week. We were sad to see him go but we made it through the week okay. We ran a few errands and Alex got to make his first trip to Target. We wanted to stop and take a picture outside for Aunt Rachel but it was just too cold to be outside any longer than necessary. Some of Beth's co-workers- Heidi, Karla, and Meredith- stopped by on Wednesday which was a nice way to break up the week. Alex is really changing by the day now. He's outgrowing his newborn clothes and is making a lot more baby noises on a regular basis. He started to really smile this week too but we haven't been able to capture any on camera yet. He's had some good nights of sleep but he still likes to toss in a rough night here and there just to keep Mom on her toes. Andy and I celebrated our 4th anniversary on Thursday with a nice dinner out. Alex came along and his present to us was to sleep through the entire dinner, which we greatly appreciated. Andy also had a beautiful flower bouquet sent to the house that is not only nice to look at, but also smells amazing.

Wow- good work Andy. Congrats on 4 years. Seems like just yesterday. Can't believe how much Alex has changed - he looks just like Greta. Scary.

Those are great pics of you with Alex. He is adorable as ever. He is really changing already though. Also, the flowers are gorgeous. I love the lilies!

Aww... he's almost smiling in that first picture! Such a cutie. I can't wait to come visit him again. :)
