Welcome Weston!

We are thrilled to announce the arrival of Weston John Ausman to our family. Weston was born on Wednesday, October 26 at 1:07pm. He weighed 7 pounds, 8 ounces and is 20 inches long. He has a substantial amount of dark brown hair and has dark blue-gray eyes. Alex has come to visit at the hospital twice now and has done a great job being a good big brother. We are looking forward to going home soon and starting our lives together as a family of four.

Paco

Ever since we told Alex he is going to be a big brother, he has decided that the baby's name is Paco. We're not sure where he came up with the name and he sometimes adds in other names, such as Popcorn (i.e. "Paco Popcorn"), but he almost always includes the name Paco. Whatever his name and nickname will be, we are excited to finally meet this little guy soon! As amazing as it is to feel him move around, I am also looking forward to getting rid of the basketball belly.

Grandpa Visit

We had a fun weekend with a visit from my dad. We took advantage of the nice fall weather with a trip to the park on Saturday and a visit to Emma Krumbee's pumpkin patch on Sunday. Alex climbed the hay mountain, walked down the scarecrow path, pet the goats, went down the slides, rode the train by himself, and picked pumpkins from the pumpkin patch.

Pumpkins in the Park

I took Alex to Pumpkins in the Park yesterday, which is a little Halloween festival intended specifically for younger children. There was a trick-or-treat trail, games, a little pumpkin patch, and a cookie and juice station. Alex had a lot of fun with his buddies.

Alex was very proud of his trick-or-

treating ability this year.

The After Party

Everyone came over to our house after the marathon. It was nice to hang out with family that we don't get to see very often. Alex loved having new people to play outside with instead of just boring mom and dad.

Run Sara Run!

We are all so impressed and proud of Sara for running her first full marathon on Sunday!! She did a fantastic job. It was a beautiful day out and we had fun tracking her down along the way to cheer her on. Rachel had fun shirts made for all of us, which was great for Sara to spot us as well as an easy way for us to keep track of each other throughout the day.

Could a cheering section be any cuter than this?

Looking great at mile 6. Just 20.2 to go!

Love the cheesey smiles- what little hams!

Greta and Alex had fun giving High 5's to runners

passing by. You could tell they felt like such big kids.

Group shot after the race. Awesome job, Sara!

Children's Museum

We had such a fun weekend with family in town for Sara's marathon. Saturday we went to the Children's Museum where Alex and Greta had a good time playing together. These little cousins are pretty darn cute together.
