Nonna Visit and the ODB

We loved having Nonna come visit last week. Alex loved having someone else to play with. I loved the extra set of hands and help. And Weston loved snuggling with his grandma! We ventured out on Tuesday to meet some friends at the Mall of America and see our favorite kids band, the Okee Dokee Brothers, play a concert. Alex even scored a picture with the famous duo thanks to Henry and Heidi. After the concert, we hit up some rides, took a stroll through the aquarium, and grabbed some lunch. It was a fun day for all.

The (locally) famous Okee Dokee Brothers

Two thumbs up from Alex!

And two thumbs up from Henry's dad! Jason was

such a champ to ride the little kids rides despite

his long legs!

Brothers

I like this picture of Alex talking to Weston with Weston listening so intently. I love watching them together.

Photo Shoot

I had these shirts made for the boys thinking they would make for some cute pictures. Alex did a good job posing for camera but apparently Weston wasn't up for the photo shoot.

Alex gave Weston a kiss to try to cheer him up
but it didn't work so well this time.

"Whoa! That was a bright camera flash."

Sadly, this was the best Weston

shot of the night...

Oh well, we'll try again next time...

Ausman Visitors

Andy's parents and grandparents came to meet Weston for the first time on Sunday. We had a nice, relaxing afternoon of watching football, eating dinner, and passing Weston around. Alex was excited to have people to play "get away cars" with too.

Thank You!

We have been completely overwhelmed with generiosity from family and friends. With everything from cards, phone calls, flowers, a cookie bouquet, gift cards, home cooked meals, clothes, and toys for Big Brother Alex, we appreciate all of the gifts and love from everyone. Thank you!

Family of Four

We are home now and settling in as a family of four. Here are a few pictures of our new little addition.

Happy Halloween

Alex painted and carved pumpkins yesterday for Halloween. Dad took him trick-or-treating last night while Weston and I passed out candy. Alex practiced his "trick or treat" and "thank you" all day long. He was one good looking Thomas The Train.

Weston's First Bath

It's pretty obvious Weston does not like being cold. He does not enjoy diaper changes and was not a big fan of his first bath either. He's still pretty cute when he's mad though.
