Texas Wedding Trip
We made a trip to Texas last weekend for our great friends April and Brad's wedding. Congratulations April and Brad!! We flew into Dallas, spent the night in Fort Worth, and then headed to Austin for all of the wedding festivities. The weather was beautiful most of the time so we were able to get outside. It was great to see April and Brad, family, as well as our other friends, Angela, Jason, and Avery. All of the other bridesmaids decided at the last minute to wear cowboy boots for the wedding so I caved and joined the boot party. After all of the years of living in Texas, this was my first real pair of cowboy boots.

Wow, I guess I haven't talked to you forever. I didn't realize you guys were going to Texas. Alex looks cute as ever. Glad to see he is getting to wear his tux. Nice work on the boots!
Alex pretty much rocks a tuxedo. Looks like you guys enjoyed a warm weekend in TX!
It's actually a makeshift tux of just regular black pants and a white shirt. He is wearing the only part of the original tux that still fits- the bowtie. Apparently his neck has been growing at a slower rate than his belly over the past few months. :)
You guys are adorable and I'm so glad you now have some cowboy boots in case anyone in the midwest doubts your Texas roots.
