Alex went on his first public outings this week to places other than the doctor. On Thursday we ventured to the Mall of America for some Christmas shopping. Alex was all geared up and ready to go but fell asleep in the car on the way there and did not open an eye again until we were back home. On Friday Beth took Alex to meet some co-workers for lunch. He was well behaved as once again he slept the entire time. I'm not sure how much he took in but at least his first outings were not a disaster.

Thanks for sharing all these wonderful pictures. What a treat for relatives who are "away". Those eyes!!!....he is not going to miss anything....when he isn't asleep. Enjoy the sleeping excursions - it won't last forever.
