16 Months

Alex has hit the 16 month mark. Here are some of his latest tricks:

*Says hi, bye, mama, dada, Alex, go, cracker, ball, and is starting to copy other words and names

*Signs more, all done, eat, milk, help, and please

*Gives hug, blows kisses, and gives fist bumps

*Runs

*Throws anything and everything (especially his plate, fork, and cup!)

*Starting to use a fork by himself

*Starting to climb and stand on things he's not supposed to- i.e. his toy box, the couch, etc.

Underwater Adventures

This weekend we went to check out Underwater Adventures at the Mall of America with a group of friends. I think the kids had just as much fun (or more!) playing in the water and on the play structure at the end as they did actually looking at the fish inside.

Easter Egg Hunt

Alex joined his friends this morning for his first Easter egg hunt. It was a bit chilly and there were tons of little tots running around but the kids all did a great job.

Playing Ball

This past week was the first time Alex got to go outside and actually walk around our backyard. He had fun playing with his ball. When he becomes a professional soccer player some day, he can look back at this video and see where it all started.

Then there's this video of Alex who will do anything at all possible to avoid touching the grass with his hands. We'll have to work on that this summer.

Apparently Alex and his friend Kylie like to play in the little kitchen at daycare. They are a pretty cute pair.
