Happy Easter!

Alex's first Easter wasn't quite what we had hoped for. I was sick with some type of stomach bug so we ended up staying home rather than going to Andy's parents' house for the weekend. At least Alex still looked cute and got to play with his Easter bunny that Grandma brought him last weekend. I couldn't decide which picture to put up so I just put up all three.

It seems like Alex has really changed quite a bit in the last couple of weeks. He is much more interactive now and really reaches out for things in front of him. He also watches people more now and has come to realize that Rosco is something different than a human. Alex was able to get a hold of Rosco's ear for the first time this week. He also made a big step last week by rolling over for the first time. We've only witnessed him going from back to front but he's reportedly also rolled from front to back at daycare as well.

Basketball Game

Alex got to go to his first basketball game last week. We went to the Timberwolves-Mavericks game on Tuesday and we all had a fun time. Alex was entertained by the jumbotron and all of the excitement and was well behaved the whole time.

Great Grandma Millie

Second Cousin Ari

Great Aunt Karen

Grandpa, Great Grandma Millie, Eli, Great-Great Aunt Pearl

Last weekend we made a trip to Milwaukee so Alex could meet a bunch of family he has never met before. We stopped in Madison for lunch on the way down to meet Mac, Philip, Kari, and Pierson. Then on the way back we stopped at Andy's parents house so Alex got to see Grandma and Grandpa Ausman for a little while. It was a fun filled trip. Alex got a little sick of his car seat by the end but he was certainly a champ throughout the weekend.

Drool

Check out Alex's shirt. It almost looks like he is wearing a bib but it's just wet from drool. Perhaps it's time to start wearing bibs all of the time. Alex seems a little distressed in this video. Maybe he's just not ready to face the fact that he has reached the super drool stage in his life. Even a little upset and full of drool, we still think he is pretty cute!

First Walk

Alex's daycare provider was sick on Monday so Mom and Alex were "forced" to stay home and enjoy the 60 degree weather. It was the warmest day since Alex was born so we took advantage and went for a walk to the park. Sad to say it was the first walk Alex has been on outside thanks to the wonderful Minnesota winter. It was a bit windy but it was certainly nice to finally get outside!
