Drool

Check out Alex's shirt. It almost looks like he is wearing a bib but it's just wet from drool. Perhaps it's time to start wearing bibs all of the time. Alex seems a little distressed in this video. Maybe he's just not ready to face the fact that he has reached the super drool stage in his life. Even a little upset and full of drool, we still think he is pretty cute!

First Walk

Alex's daycare provider was sick on Monday so Mom and Alex were "forced" to stay home and enjoy the 60 degree weather. It was the warmest day since Alex was born so we took advantage and went for a walk to the park. Sad to say it was the first walk Alex has been on outside thanks to the wonderful Minnesota winter. It was a bit windy but it was certainly nice to finally get outside!

We went to Lucia's first birthday party on Saturday. We were excited to finally meet her and Alex enjoyed taking in all of the excitement. He was looking pretty sharp in his Wrangler jeans and button down shirt.

Fun With Visitors

One of Alex's new tricks is to give "fist bumps" but he

doesn't have a lot of control of where his hand goes yet.

This one ended up giving Dad a pop in the nose.

Last weekend we had lots of fun with visitors. Grandma and Grandpa Ausman came down for the day on Sunday. We were also excited to get to see our friends Philip, Kari, and Pierson. Alex and Pierson had fun playing with toys and Rosco loved the extra attention.

3 Months!

Reaching for those feet

Even though Alex did not get a birthday last month, he is now over 3 months old. We can't believe how fast the time has gone and how big he has gotten lately. He is now fitting into many of his 3-6 month clothes. His latest adventures include sucking on his index finger and making attempts to get his feet. He hasn't quite gotten a hold of them yet but I'm sure the time will come soon.

Beth had to go back to work this week but both Alex and Mom have made it through the first two days okay. We finally found a good daycare and hopefully it will continue to work out. Alex has decided that daycare is too exciting to take naps, which has made him a bit on the cranky side, but hopefully he will get back in a good routine soon.

Farm Weekend

We went to the farm this past weekend for a visit with Andy's parents. Alex enjoyed seeing everyone. He is very much into sucking his hand and talking these days which you can see in the video.
