Minnesota Zoo

We had a nice family day at the zoo today. Alex is still pretty afraid of the cows but liked just about everything else. His favorite animals today were probably the piglets, the prairie dogs, and the fish.

Such a big boy!

18 Months!

I feel like we just celebrated his 1 year birthday but somehow Alex is already 18 months old now. We had his 18 month check-up this week. Alex currently weighs 29 pounds (85th percentile) and is 33.25" long (75th percentile). He is one healthy and happy boy!

How Cute Are These Two?

Alex had a playdate with his buddy Henry this afternoon. They were both on the move from the moment we got there until the second we left. They are pretty cute together. I'm sure they will have lots of fun together this summer (and so will the moms)!

Elko Speedway

We went to Elko Speedway on Saturday night to enjoy the beautiful weather. Alex likes watching Nascar on TV with Dad so we thought he might enjoy going to the racetrack. We all had a good time.

It was loud but he did a good job tolerating having
his headphones on during the actual races.

Mother's Day

We celebrated a very nice Mother's Day on Sunday. My boys made me a wonderful pancakes and eggs breakfast, we did some shopping during the day, and went out for a nice dinner at night. It was a very nice and relaxing day. Nothing makes me happier or prouder than being Mom to this amazing little boy...

Playdate with Bailey

Alex's friend, Bailey, came over for a playdate last Saturday night while her parents were at the Twins game. Alex did a good job sharing his toys and we really enjoyed having Bailey for the night.
