4 Months

Weston hit the 4 month mark this week. At his check up, he weighed in at 17 pounds, 2 ounces (88th percentile) and 26" long (85th percentile). He's definitely a growing boy! He takes his eating seriously and will immediately let you know when he's ready to eat. Now that his acid reflux is more under control and he's starting to sleep better, we have a happier little boy on our hands. He loves to be upright, whether it's in his Bumbo chair or exersaucer. He's starting to get the hang of sitting up on his own too. He has definitely found his hands and has either his fist or any other object he can grab stuffed into his mouth most of the time. It feels like he has a tooth starting to poke through on the bottom already too.

Saturday

After a rough weekend last week with a sick little Weston, it was nice to have a relaxing weekend this week. Saturday morning we went to Bailey's birthday party and enjoyed a relaxing afternoon at home playing games. Alex and Weston had fun playing a fishing game together.

Crib!

I realize this is a bit of an odd picture but yet it is one I am so excited to post. It is a picture of Weston sleeping in his crib via our video monitor. I didn't dare risk waking him up by taking a picture of him. For the first time since October 25, I was able to sleep in my bed on Saturday night. Weston has made HUGE gains recently! He has gone from sleeping only when I was holding him, to sleeping in his bouncy chair, to now being able to sleep in his crib! Not only that, but he has recently dropped his middle of the night feeding the last few nights. He still occassionally wakes up and wants his pacifier but after all we have been through, I can certainly handle that!

3 Months

Nonna Visit

This week I had to go back to work. It was hard to leave my little guy behind but the transition was made so much easier by having my mom here to watch Weston for four days. I know they enjoyed their snuggle time together and it put my mind at ease for those first few days back. Thanks Mom!!

Baby Talk

Weston has been full of baby coos lately. I love it! Here are some pictures of him having a nice conversation with Daddy.

Growing Boy!

I seriously can't believe how fast Weston is growing. I realize all babies grow quickly but Weston is sprouting up like a weed. Yesterday I put on this cute outfit that we got from my boss (thanks Kathy!). It's a 6 month outfit and being that Weston isn't even 3 months yet, I thought for sure it would be too big. It wasn't at all! Looks like it is time to dig out some more clothes for this growing boy to wear!
