Family Fun

The Men's Card Table

Snuggles with Aunt Rita
Sara ran the Minneapolis Marathon last Sunday and did a great job as always. Afterwards a group of people came over to our house for a little post-marathon celebration as well as to celebrate Mary's birthday. Alex was excited to have people to play games with. His latest obsession is Uno. I love this picture of the guys playing cards.

7 Months

Weston is now 7 months old. This past month he got to experience a bout of C. Diff, which was pretty awful for everyone. If you don't know what that is, just consider yourself lucky! Since then he has been a little more picky with his baby food eating. He still loves his apples and bananas; tolerates sweet potates, squash, and pears; and literally gags with peas and greenbeans. He loves eating puffs and is getting pretty good about picking them up and actually getting them into his mouth. He's also been working on using a sippy cup of water with his meals. Weston loves to sit or stand and play with his toys but of course it still doesn't compare to the entertainment of watching his big brother Alex!

More Giggles

I started to make dinner last night and let Weston stay upstairs with Alex for a few minutes. It didn't take long before the giggles started. Weston thought it was hilarious that Alex was sliding cars down his chair. It doesn't seem to matter what Alex is doing- Weston always thinks it's funny! Sorry, the first video is pretty blurry.

Bath Time

Weston has upgraded from the infant bathtub to the toddler duck bath. He loves the freedom to go crazy splashing and I love not having to clean up a drenched bathroom counter afterwards!

Check out my bottom two teeth!

Mother's Day

After a very long week, it was nice to get out on Sunday and enjoy some family time together. We headed up to St. Paul to go to Como Zoo and walked around in the absolutely perfect weather. It was a great way to spend Mother's Day. I can't even put into words how much I LOVE these boys! I am one lucky mom!

How cute are these picture frames the boys made at daycare?!
I also loved how excited Alex was to show me what he made.

Rough Week

It's been a rough week at our house. We had an unexpected and expensive car repair, sick kids with a lot of bodily malfunctions, trips to the doctor, more time off work, and the list goes on... I therefore have no fun pictures to post from this past week and will direct you to Henry's blog for some cute pictures of the three boys. We are so thankful to have the Anglins, who are not only great friends to us and the boys, but have also helped us out on many occassions so that Andy and I haven't had to take even more time off work!
